International Destination Services

Inbound international services include anytime, anywhere access to MyReloOnDemand™ - resources, research, reporting, organizational tools, along with the personalized services of a local area consultant.

DECISION TRIP

Knowing the benefits of a new location can play a key role in the candidate’s decision to relocate. To increase a company’s ability to attract the best and brightest candidates, Chamness serves as an invaluable resource, helping to guide candidates and transferees toward thoughtful, well-informed decisions. Our focus is on highlighting the benefits of the prospective location, while addressing the candidate’s specific questions and concerns that might influence his or her decision to relocate.

PREVIEW TOUR

Chamness provides a highly focused introduction to the new community prior to relocation, with a general overview of personal interests, cultural awareness, and general area familiarization. We will address any questions and concerns the transferee may have about the location, and provide a thorough one-on-one consultation and personalized tour.

AREA ORIENTATION

Once relocation has taken place, our Local Area Consultant will provide the new hire or transferee with a thorough overview of their new employment community and surrounding area, including current area information and resources addressing the needs & concerns of the transferee and their families. The guided area tour is customized to the immediate area where the transferee will be residing and our commitment is to help facilitate a smooth and positive transition into the new community.

HOMEFINDING

Our rental assistance program is designed to familiarize the transferee with housing options characteristic of their new community. After a thorough housing orientation and area familiarization, we assist the transferee in locating and securing suitable housing tailored to meet their specific budget guidelines and rental requirements.

SETTLING IN

Our goal is to facilitate a smooth transition into the new community by providing direct, hands-on assistance and resources needed to accomplish challenging settling-in tasks. This allows the transferee to able to focus on what is truly important to them. The Local Area Consultant will accompany the transferee and/or provide the resources to facilitate a myriad of settling-in tasks individually identified by the transferee.

SCHOOL AND CHILDCARE ORIENTATION

The school research and consultation program will guide parents through the process of understanding the public and private school choices available to their children and help them determine which system would best serve their family.

DEPARTURE SUPPORT

Our Local Area Consultant will assist the transferee with a smooth transition “home” upon conclusion of their temporary relocation by carefully handling the details involved in the closure of their residence. We will facilitate departure services and support as individually requested by the transferee.

REPATRIATION TO THE US

Upon return to the United States, Chamness serves as a trusted area resource. We will provide detailed area familiarization through one-on-one consultation and a personalized guided tour to help the employee transition back their home country.

Domestic Destination Services

Domestic destination services programs include both accompanied or unaccompanied service options to support the relocating employee in his/her rental home search.

ACCOMPANIED PROGRAM

A Chamness team member conducts a comprehensive needs assessment and overview of the rental market and works diligently to match the employee’s individual rental criteria and budget requirements to available housing options.

A local Chamness representative provides the employee with a customized, guided tour of selected properties, along with information related to reasonable and customary rental practices in the specific market area. Chamness provides on-going research support until a rental is identified, along with a standard review of the lease to identify key tenant responsibilities (i.e., lease term, deposit requirements and return stipulations, requirements for renter insurance, early termination of lease, maintenance cost limitations, landscaping responsibilities, etc.).

UNACCOMPANIED PROGRAM

The unaccompanied program provides a flexible option for smaller rental markets or situations in which the employee prefers to visit properties on his/her own.

A Chamness staff member conducts a comprehensive needs assessment and overview of the rental market and works diligently to match the employee’s individual rental criteria and budget requirements to available housing options. Once properties have been identified or viewing, the Chamness team member schedules appointments and provides the employee with an itinerary and contact information. Chamness provides on-going research support until a rental is identified, along with a standard review of the lease to identify key tenant responsibilities (i.e., lease term, deposit requirements and return stipulations, requirements for renter insurance, early termination of lease, maintenance cost limitations, landscaping responsibilities, etc.)

CAPPED MOVES

Individual subscription program. Single subscription fee with 120 days of online access and support. Expense tracking and management. Direct payment to relocation vendors for an additional service fee.
